Is my WH-347 wrong?

Most of the time the form looks fine and is still wrong.

The math adds up, every box is filled, and it still gets flagged. That is because the errors auditors care about are not on the face of the form. They are in what the numbers should have been.

The three that come back the most: the wrong classification for the work, a base rate a few cents under the wage determination, and fringe handled the wrong way. None of those show up as a blank or a bad total. You only see them when you lay the payroll next to the actual wage determination for that job.

You cannot eyeball that. I do it by hand.

Send me the one you are worried about and I will tell you if it holds up.
